Graduate Program Application

Individuals who are interested in enrolling in graduate coursework at St. Lawrence University and are not currently matriculated into a program of study, must complete the following application. In addition, your St. Lawrence Graduate application requires official college transcript(s). Please contact the appropriate offices at your college(s) to have your official transcripts sent directly to St. Lawrence at education@stlawu.edu.

Application Deadlines:
June 1 - Priority/Early Decision Application Deadline for Fall Semester
August 1 - Final Application Deadline for Fall Semester
January 1 - Final Application Deadline for Spring Semester (only for previously non-matriculated students.)

A three-part Statement of Purpose, four pages maximum, answering the following questions:
- Why do you wish to study leadership at a liberal arts university?
- What preliminary Master's thesis or project do you have in mind? Or, considering the program requirements and course offerings, what are you most passionate about studying at St. Lawrence?
- Describe the most transformative leadership experience you have had in your life. How did it change you and your motivations for continuing with leadership graduate study or a related career in leadership?
